MARISSA + NICK
Marissa and Nick's wedding at Antler Basin Ranch in Granby, Colorado, began with a quiet, intimate ceremony with only their immediate family present, and it was lovely to photograph. With so few people in the meadow, every moment felt personal. Their dog served as ring bearer, which was a highlight for everyone and gave me some of my favorite candid frames of the day. The Colorado sky added its own drama, with moody, dramatic clouds rolling over the ranch that made the whole setting feel cinematic.
After the ceremony, the evening opened up into a much larger reception, with friends who had flown in from all over to celebrate Marissa and Nick. The contrast was one of my favorite parts of the wedding: a hushed, heartfelt ceremony followed by a room full of people who were thrilled to be there, with laughter, toasts, and an amazing live band. I'm so grateful to have been a part of it. Congratulations, you two!
